THERAPISTS MUST HAVE ATTENDED THE INTRODUCTION TO LYCON TRAINING OR HOLD A LYCON CERTIFICATE OF TRAINING.

Cost - £149 plus vat per therapist

• This course is for Therapists who have been using Lycon Hot Wax and wish to advance to the world of Brazilian and Hollywood waxing, you will learn from the best and most experienced in the business the precise technique for Brazilian & Hollywood waxing.
• Our trainer will teach Therapists everything from Client Comfort, Correct Positioning and Client Modesty to precise application (straight lines) and techniques required.
• Full troubleshooting will be covered along with beneficial Hints & Tips to ensure the Therapists leave with the confidence to complete the perfect Brazilian and Hollywood wax.
• Therapists will practice on each other and will have completed a Brazilian or Hollywood wax by the end of the day.
• This course will be accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists.

• Learning the precise technique for Male Precision waxing.
• Our trainer will teach Therapists everything from Client Comfort, Correct Positioning and Client Modesty to precise application and techniques required.
• Full troubleshooting will be covered along with beneficial Hints & Tips to ensure the Therapists leave with the confidence to complete the perfect Male Brazilian.
• Therapists will then practice on their models and will have completed a Male Brazilian by the end of the day.
   

COST - £499 inc vat per therapist

This course offers training in professional waxing leading to an industry recognised qualification. Allowing you to get industry recognised insurance. You will first learn all the theory involved in waxing treatments (eg: the anatomy of the skin and hair).  You will then be taught by both demonstration and practical lessons to how to perform a complete waxing treatment on the underarm, face, arms, legs and bikini areas. Students work on each other - In this way, you will build your confidence and skills gradually, and gain extremely valuable 'real life experience' on real people before you even leave school. Once you enter the industry, you'll be all set to go.

COURSE CONTENTS:

• Health Hygiene & Safety
• Anatomy & Physiology: Structure of the hair/skin, hair growth cycle, skin diseases and disorder.
• Client care and consultation contra-indications waxing pre and aftercare
• Demonstration and practical lessons to perform a complete waxing treatment on the underarm, face, arms, legs and bikini areas.
• Hot waxing the underarm, bikini and face
• Strip Waxing the arms and legs

DURATION: 2 Full days plus a half day assessment

LOCATION: LONDON

QUALIFICATION GAINED: Strip Training Academy Insurable certificate in waxing techniques recognised by BABTAC and THE GUILD.  You will also gain an Introduction To Lycon Waxing System Certificate.

Please note certain treatments will be demonstrated only, these areas will be visited again once students have completed there exams in order for them to gain confidence.

Cost - £790 + vat (for up to 8 therapists)

Out-house training is available at your requested location. Classes will run for 1 day and combine Class 1: Introduction to the Lycon System and Class 2: Lycon Advanced Brazilian and Hollywood Precision Waxing.

You are welcome to split the training over two days if it is more convenient for your business (an extra charge for an overnight stay for our trainer might apply if your salon is at a remote location, please contact us for more information).
 

As a loyal customer we are now offering a FREE training course covering the Lycon Spa range to be held in our training school in Ealing. Previous Lycon waxing training is compulsory for all therapists wishing to attend the Lycon Spa training however for any retail or reception staff that are not beauty therapists this does not apply.

Topics covered within the training session:
• The history of Lycon and why Lycon is superior to any other waxing system on the market.
• Full product knowledge of the Lycon retail range along with a breakdown of the active ingredients and their benefits
• Unique selling points, how to retail, and when to recommend each product in the Lycon Spa range
• The session will end with troubleshooting and role play activities to ensure your therapists can go back to the salon full of confidence, enthusiasm and hooked on the Lycon phenomenon!
